There are two face-plate variations for this Friedberg-number signature combination of Napier and McClung. This has the face plate with “Act of July 12, 1882” at the upper left. The face margins are clear all around and the perfectly centered back is rich orange. Another very pleasing and popular type note. This example is an attractive piece in a comment-free holder.
