The 1914-RS $5 Federal Reserve Note issued by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York is a significant piece of early 20th-century American currency, featuring a prominent portrait of Abraham Lincoln in the center of the note with floral designs on the border of the front end of the note. Recognizable by its red seal and matching serial numbers, this note also reflects the seal of its state and regulatory standards of the newly established Federal Reserve system. The reverse side displays intricate patterns with Columbus on a US Ship deck looking for islands in that era and a clear presentation of the $5 denomination.
