This note has excellent original paper surfaces, wonderful colors, and wholesome margins and centering. The 1890 $5 Coin note honored General George H. Thomas, the “Rock of Chickamauga”. The note features an oversize portrait of Thomas on the face and a very ornate green back featuring a large FIVE. This beauty earned the PMG “Exceptional Paper Quality” designation.
