This is a Choice Fine example of this scarce Friedberg number. The design features a portrait of Benjamin Franklin (1706–1790)—statesman, printer, scientist, and a key drafter of the Declaration of Independence—engraved by Charles Burt after the Duplessis painting. To the right stands Liberty, portrayed in the classical form of Columbia. A truly striking piece, sure to enhance any collection
